Backgammon Buddy / Support

Need a hand?
We are listening.

Questions, bugs and ideas are welcome while Backgammon Buddy is being prepared for release. There are no public Android or iOS store links yet.

Contact Freevia

For product help, bug reports or suggestions, email [email protected]. For privacy questions or requests about data, email [email protected]. These are the same Freevia contact channels used elsewhere on this site.

If you report a problem, it helps to include the app version, Android or iOS version, what you expected, what happened and how to reproduce it. Share screenshots or diagnostics only if you choose to, and remove private information first.

Where can I get Backgammon Buddy?

Backgammon Buddy is still in development for Android and iOS. No public store listing or download is announced here yet. Windows is being used for development and testing, not advertised as a public release platform. Official links will appear on the product page when they are ready.

Why is the tutor unavailable in a peer match?

Live nearby and online matches are intentionally unassisted. You can review saved games and practise decisions after the match. Tutor guidance is available in supported local learning flows, including computer play.

Can Buddy Mode read dice from the camera?

Not as a supported feature. Enter dice manually. Buddy Mode's camera-assisted view of a physical board is still being tested, and an optional microphone can provide a transient dice-landing sound hint; neither should be treated as reliable camera dice recognition.

What about GitHub?

The Backgammon Buddy source repository is now public. In pre-release builds, in-app feedback may open a GitHub issue draft; review everything in it before submitting, especially diagnostic details. You can also use the support email above.
