Independent application and trademarks
QC Remote is independently developed and unofficial. It is not affiliated with, authorized, sponsored, endorsed, or supported by Neural DSP Technologies Oy.
Neural DSP® and Quad Cortex® are trademarks of Neural DSP Technologies Oy. Their names are used only as reasonably necessary to identify the third-party devices with which QC Remote is intended to interoperate. All other marks belong to their respective owners.
No trademark license, certification, partnership, or guarantee of compatibility is claimed. QC Remote does not contain, replace, or modify Quad Cortex firmware.
Open-source license and project assets
Freevia EOOD's own QC Remote source code and project documentation are made available under your choice of the MIT License or the Apache License 2.0. The repository's license files control the exact grant.
The QC Remote name, wordmark, application icon, and derived platform icon sets are brand assets of Freevia EOOD and are not included in that open-source grant. Forks and derivative distributions must use their own public identity.
Compatibility and safe use
Device compatibility is firmware-sensitive. Updates to device firmware, operating systems, USB drivers, networks, or third-party services can interrupt or change compatibility.
QC Remote can read device state and can change presets, parameters, scenes, routing, volume, tempo, and other settings. Some operations can overwrite unsaved work or affect live audio. Review requested actions, maintain independent backups, use safe output levels, and test changes before a performance or production use.
Do not rely on QC Remote for a safety-critical or emergency function. AI or automated output can be incorrect or incomplete; verified device state, not a natural-language response, determines whether an operation succeeded.
Optional relay and connected apps
Local device control does not require the publisher-operated relay. Remote access remains off until you enable it. If you connect a third-party AI app through the relay, that app receives only the scopes you approve and remains subject to its own terms and privacy practices.
See the QC Remote privacy policy for the data sent through the optional relay, retention, revocation, and your controls.
Third-party components
Third-party software and bundled assets remain subject to their own licenses. The application and source repository include the applicable notices, license texts, and source-availability information. Nothing on this page grants rights in third-party devices, firmware, services, marks, or content.
