Sudoku Buddy

Keep solving on paper.

Point your camera at the Sudoku in front of you. Sudoku Buddy reads the clues and handwriting, checks your answers, and explains the next deduction when you ask.

Scan. Check. Understand the next move.

Sudoku Buddy keeps the paper puzzle at the center. The camera reads what is already there; you confirm the result and decide how much help you want.

01

Scan your puzzle

Point your Android phone at a Sudoku in a newspaper, book or magazine. The app reads the printed clues and any answers you have written in.

02

Confirm the reading

Review the photographed grid and correct anything the camera misunderstood. Confidence markers show the squares worth checking first.

03

Check or ask for help

See which handwritten answers are right, or reveal a hint one stage at a time. Sudoku Buddy highlights the evidence and names the human solving technique behind the next move.

Your puzzle stays yours.

Camera processing and puzzle history stay on your phone. Sudoku Buddy has no account, ads, analytics or internet permission, and Freevia does not receive your photographs or progress. Sharing diagnostics is always an action you choose.
